A 10th-degree Black Belt and martial arts instructor for over 45 years, Carroll leverages an expert command of body mechanics, timing, and movement.
His choreography blends realism with cinematic impact—whether crafting a tight, intimate fight or coordinating a full-scale battle sequence.
Known for his ability to communicate clearly and break down complex movements into simple, achievable steps, he elevates performers of all experience levels, ensuring they feel confident, safe, and camera-ready.

With more than 35 years of experience in the film industry, Carroll Schumacher is a proven leader whose expertise, discipline, and calm command make him an invaluable asset to any production.
His extensive background across multiple departments gives him a rare, 360-degree understanding of how a set functions—allowing him to anticipate needs, resolve challenges quickly, and keep the production moving efficiently.
Carroll is known for his exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, paired with a leadership style that keeps cast and crew focused, supported, and motivated. He excels at creating a positive, productive, and safe working environment, even during the most demanding shoot days. As an Assistant Director,

Kevin Kent
Kevin Kent — Biography
Kevin Kent is a retired Chief Special Warfare Operator with the U.S. Navy SEAL Teams, completing an extraordinary 21-year career in Naval Special Warfare. A graduate of BUD/S Class 200, he spent over 15 years with SEAL Team Five in Coronado, California, where he completed nine special operations combat deployments, including six in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
His additional assignments included both the Advanced and Basic Training Commands at the Naval Special Warfare Center, where he instructed SEALs in a wide range of tactics, techniques, and procedures. Kevin’s distinguished service has earned him numerous commendations, including the Bronze Star Medal with Combat “V”, the Joint Service Commendation Medal, seven Navy & Marine Corps Commendation Medals (three with Combat “V”), the Army Commendation Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, multiple Navy & Marine Corps Achievement Medals, the Army Achievement Medal, the Combat Action Ribbon, and several additional campaign and unit awards.
Following his military retirement, Kevin transitioned into the film and television industry, where he works as a Producer, Director, Cinematographer, Actor, Stuntman, Weapons Trainer, and Military/Police Technical Advisor. His expertise in tactical realism has made him a sought-after consultant for major productions. He has also provided high-risk security and executive protection for high-net-worth individuals and celebrities, and served for seven years on a U.S. Marshal Task Force as well as a reserve police officer.
While attending film school, Kevin founded K-Squared Productions (K-Squared.cc), through which he has written, produced, and directed several short films and co-hosted two streaming series: “Bar Talk Live” and “The Liberty Risk Show.” His recent film and TV credits include “Way of the Warrior Kid” and “Fast X” on the big screen; “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” for Apple TV+; “Obliterated” and “Nemesis” on Netflix; and Seasons 1–4 of Tom Clancy’s “Jack Ryan” for Amazon. His own short films — “Flight,” “[CUR]sed,” and “Exploited” — have received multiple accolades across film festivals.
Kevin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Cinematography (2021) and continues to develop multiple film and television projects from his home in San Diego, California, where he lives with his wife of 23 years, Gabriela, and their three children: Ethan (20), Gavin (20), and Kaila (16).
